MUST SEE FILM LIST

It's (at least for me) the time of the year when everything around me seems to be alive and refreshed. Some good films are necessary to activate my emotions for the new season. Here are some beautifully made films from recent years. It covers a variety of categories made by different countries. Love and chaos, life and death, wealth and poverty, fashion and styles... Check out the list below!! <3

LOVE, BY GASPAR NOE
"Love is film. Film is sex. Sex is the end, but end is love."

DIOR AND I, BY FREDERIC TCHENG
"Dior and I did't show you the glam, the gossips and the celebrity list. They just showed you their heartbeat taking an event as an example."

IRRATIONAL MAN, BY WOODY ALLEN
"A tight script? Check. Capable actors? Check. Lots of witty dialogue? Check. A jazzy soundtrack? Check. Beautiful photography in idyllic settings? Check."

OUR LITTLE SISTER, BY HIROKAZU KOREEDA
"The movie portrays death as something all around us and that not only is it nothing to be sad about or afraid of, but it reminds us how to live fully before we reach this full stop."

RIGHT NOW, WRONG THEN, BY HONG SANG-SOO
"It is not necessarily about how honesty is a better policy, but it's about how it's possible to love again. In this case, love doesn't have to be a complete turbulous affair, but it can still be a fulfilling and life-affirming night if approached accordingly."

MOUNTAINS MAY DEPART, BY JIA ZHANGKE
"The strive for material wealth leads to emotional poverty."

45 YEARS, BY ANDREW HAIGH
“Love is not love which alters when it alternation finds, or bends with the remover to remove: O, no! It is an ever-fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken." Love can be shakier than you thought...

YOUTH, BY PAOLO SORRENTINO
"We are nothing without love, which is the driving force of humanity."
